Victoria Beckham Vows To Pack On Pounds
The skeletal Victoria Beckham has promised her husband to try and out on some weight.
Currently Posh Spice is looking pretty anorexic, she and hubby David are hoping for a fourth child soon; first though she must get healthy.
Posh usually sticks to a diet of sushi and vegetables but will be forcing down carbs and crisps from now on.
A source close to the Beckham’s told the Daily Mail: “David has pleaded with her in the past to put on weight, but now he’s finally taken serious action and given her a diet plan to ensure that she fattens up.
“Victoria’s agreed to go along with it because she and David are happier than ever at the moment and also because she is desperate to conceive. After having three sons, who they love dearly, both of them would absolutely love a little girl to dote on.”
Hopefully she will manage to pack on a few pounds and deal with her food demons at the same time…
Lindsay Lohan Ditches The Booze
Lindsay Lohan’s new man is setting the young actress a very good example by encouraging her to stay off the 
booze for a while.
Restaurant owner Harry Morton has reportedly asked party animal Lohan to cut back on her drinking due to his family history.
According to the New York Daily News, Morton was the half-brother of famous bounty hunter Domino Harvey who died of a drug overdose; he has asked Lohan to cut back on her alcohol intake and Lohan has surprisingly obliged.
Lohan reportedly told her friends that “she will stay away from booze altogether.”
An insider added: “[Lindsay’s] not drinking. I’ve never seen her so healthy and happy.”
This must be welcome news to Morgan Creek Productions who last week sent Lohan a letter that branded her a ‘spoiled child’ for disrupting filming with her continuing tardiness.
Penelope Cruz Praises Scientology
Actress Penelope Cruz has praised Scientology for all of its work with recovering addicts.
Cruz dated Scientology enthusiast Tom Cruise for over two years and feels the religion has a lot to offer.
Scientology founded Narconon, an in-patient rehabilitation programme for drug abusers based on a doctrine by Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard.
Cruz said: “I have read a lot of books about it and some of those things I have studied have helped me with things in my life. I would feel bad with myself if I didn’t say that I was grateful to it because of what I learned about it.
“A lot of my friends have been helped by their programme – they have the most successful anti-drug problem in the world and they deserve a lot of credit for it.
“They have places everywhere. It is amazing because it is about helping the person find the reason why they started in the beginning instead of creating guilt.”
Maybe Mel Gibson should spend a bit more time at the Church of Scientology?
Reese Witherspoon Slams ‘Stupid’ Jessica Simpson
Reese Witherspoon wants to “throw daggers” at Jessica Simpson for acting ‘cute and stupid’.
The Oscar-winning Walk The Line actress is well-known for promoting positive female role models, but less well-known for publicly criticising anyone.
However, it seems Simpson’s ‘dumb blonde’ schtick has riled Witherspoon so much she couldn’t resist speaking out.
She fumes, “Creating a cultural icon out of someone who goes, ‘I’m stupid, isn’t it cute?’ makes me want to throw daggers.
“I want to say to them, ‘My grandma did not fight for what she fought for, just so you can start telling women it’s fun to be stupid.’”
Jodie Foster Sticks Up For ‘Honest’ Mel Gibson
Jodie Foster has stuck up for Mel Gibson, claiming her fellow Oscar winning actor is not an anti-Semite.
It is widely accepted Gibson told police officers arresting him for drunk driving that, “The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.”
However, Foster has said that these comments only reflect the 50-year-old’s long-term battle with alcoholism, rather than his beliefs.
She tells the Los Angeles Times, “Is he an anti-Semite? Absolutely not. But it’s no secret that he has always fought a terrible battle with alcoholism.
“I just wish I had been there, that I had been able to say, ‘Don’t do it, don’t take that drink.’
“Mel is honest, loyal, kind, but alcoholism has been a lifelong struggle for him and his family.”
Gibson faces driving whilst under the influence charges following his arrest in Malibu in the early hours of the 28 July.

If rumors are to be believed Victoria Beckham could be the new face of Burberry.
The former Spice Girl was recently spotted dining with Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey at London restaurant, J Sheekey’s.
A spy told the Mirror: “He thinks she’s a true style icon.”
Victoria is no stranger to modelling these days; last year she walked the catwalk sporting a Roberto Cavalli creation and modelled for Damon Dash’s clothes range Roccawear.

Madonna and her director husband Guy Ritchie are planning renewing their wedding vows.
The glamorous couple will be renewing their love after Madge completes her current ‘Confessions’ tour in the garden of their Wiltshire home.
According to ContactMusic a friends revealed: “They want to show the world how committed they are to each other. Because they’ve been living in Los Angeles, they’ve missed spending time in the English countryside with friends and family.”
Such an act will also prove to the world that they are still very much together.

Lindsay Lohan Ordered To Give Evidence In Legal Battle
Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to give evidence in her mother’s legal battle over the star’s music career.
The Just My Luck actress has been subpoenaed to a California law office to give an ‘oral deposition’ later this month, and will have to bring along all communication records between herself and her mother and father, as well as several other relevant parties, to a Santa Monica Law Office.
Dina Lohan is currently battling allegations by music producers Antonio Almeida and Mitchell Chait that she signed a partnership deal over Lohan’s music career in 2002, but were left out when a deal was signed two years later with Tommy Mottola’s Casablanca label.
Ex-Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland Denies Pregnancy
Former Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland has proved Entertainmentwise’s arched brow was entirely correct by denying reports she’s pregnant.
When it was reported by several papers and internet sites last month that the singer was quoted as saying she was delaying her second solo album because of the ‘shock’ news she was with child, we at your favourite celebrity news website voiced our reservations at the veracity of the reports.
Now Kelly has proved our well-honed nose for a rogue story is still sniffing little a good ‘un by stating that the supposed interview was made up.
A statement from her record company Sony BMG reads, “Contrary to rumours appearing online and in the tabloids, Kelly Rowland, of Destiny’s Child, is not pregnant.
“Statements attributed to Kelly regarding her alleged pregnancy were never made by the artist and a purported interview with the AMG never took place.”
Jessica Simpson To Star In ‘Working Girl’ Remake?
Singer/actress Jessica Simpson is currently in talks to play the lead role in a remake of the 1980’s hit film ‘Working Girl’.The film, set in the cut throat business world of New York helped launch Melanie Griffith’s career; and no doubt Simpson’s is hoping that it could help lend some credibility to her lame acting career.
The New York Daily News recently claimed that Simpson’s weirdo manager/father Joe Simpson was overheard talking about his daughter’s interest in the role.
A rep for Jessica confirmed: “It is one of the scripts she’s considering.”

Patrick Swayze Defends Mel Gibson
Actor Patrick Swayze has defended his Hollywood friend Mel Gibson after he was arrested for drunk driving and launched an anti-semitic tirade against police officers.
Speaking on GMTV, Swayze said: “Talent needs to be honoured. People say stupid things when they have a few.
“I feel bad for Mel, he’s a wonderful human being. If anybody dares to try to pull this crap of messing with his career, it’s wrong.”
Gibson has apologised profusely since his arrest last weekend. It is though he has admitted himself into a rehabilitation centre to battle his alcoholism.
Swayze is currently on stage in London’s West End.
Kate Moss Party’s Hard With The Rolling Stones
Supermodel Kate Moss splashed out £20,000 to fly her newly married friends Bobby Gillespie and Katy England out on Amsterdam to see the Rolling Stones as a wedding gift.
But, unable to miss out on a gig, Moss accompanied the newlyweds to the gig following their wedding and reception in Newcastle-Under-Lyme and partied the night away.
However, after the trio enjoyed being the guests of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Moss left her best friend Jade Jagger outraged after she forgot to pay her hotel bills.
A source told the Daily Star: “Jade felt bad that her best pal ran up a £5,000 bill and then forgot to pay it.
“She was quite embarrassed and was furious at the time. Kate did volunteer to pick up the entire tab but only when she had got back home to Britain.
“Kate is not the Stones’ favourite person right now. She was invited as their guest and while they were expecting to pick up the cost of the room, they were not impressed with the amount she ran up on drinks and food.
“Her behaviour was also very strange. She was unsteady on her feet and was clearly and had to be taken up to her room.”

Sir Paul McCartney Freezes Joint Bank Account
Sir Paul McCartney has been forced to freeze his joint bank account with his estranged wife after it was discovered that Heather Mills had been withdrawing ‘obscene’ amounts of cash.
Macca began divorce proceedings against Mills after she refused a £30million cash settlement; it is thought that she is after a much larger sum from the former Beatle.
A source told The Sun: “Sir Paul was disgusted by the amounts of money Heather had been withdrawing.
“It seems she is determined to spend money while she has a chance before the divorce goes through.”
“Sir Paul has been concerned that Heather is spending his money for the sake of it.”
Macca has also changed the locks on his London mansion to ensure Mills cannot gain access after she took possessions from the house.
A friend of the couple’s added: “Their split has degenerated into a vicious feud of petty point scoring.
“They used to love each other to bits. Now there is only hate. Heather absolutely loves the Peamarsh Lodge but will only stay there when Paul is not on the estate.”
Hopefully their two year old daughter, Beatrice will emerge for this battle unscathed.
Jennifer Lopez Drops Dallas Due To John Travolta
Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez reportedly dropped out of the forthcoming Dallas’ film because she was not pleased with the script or her co-stars.
Lopez was supposed to play the role of Sue Ellen in the new film starring opposite John Travolta’s J.R. Ewing but pulled out of the project last week.
Although J. Lo’s rep confirmed that she had dropped the film no reasons were stated.
A source has now revealed the reasons to the New York Post: “The script sucks. And John Travolta? If it had been a man’s man like Ed Harris or Tommy Lee Jones, but you don’t just go from doing ‘Hairspray’ to ‘Dallas’.”

Macaulay Culkin To Star In Sexy New Film
Macaulay Culkin is set to strip off in a new movie about group sex.
The former child actor, who shot to fame in family comedy Home Alone, is to star with ex-Buffy The Vampire star Eliza Dushku in the as yet untitled film.
Culkin, 25, will play one half of a couple who visit a sex therapist to
overcome their bedroom problems and are advised to experiment with group sex.
